Not a skateboard nor a snowboard - it's Ripstik G!

Ripstik is a hybrid of a skateboard with features like both a skateboard and a snowboard. The Ripstik G casterboard has a pivoting deck with 360 degree inclined caster trucks that gives you the ability to carve the pavement like you are on a snow board. The pivoting deck lets you use your body’s weight to power the board to go uphill and move without pushing with one foot. The Ripstik G has a spinning aircraft-grade aluminum “G” tube that gives you the extreme grinding possibilities for rail riding. It takes a couple of days to get used to the action of these boards but they are so worth it!

Introduce Fun Reading to Baby with Lamaze Books

Most people know that reading to their children is important. What many people don’t know is that even when your children are babies, they can benefit a great deal from regular reading with their parents. Even at very young ages, children can learn about language and the world around them by using books within play.

Through identification with characters in a book, children learn social skills such as sharing, taking turns, and cooperation. Reading also allows children to learn about their

environment. As they begin to point out places and objects that are new, they learn the concepts of shape, color, and size. A child and caregiver bond in a warm and loving way through the experience of sharing a book.

Explore the Whimsical World of Lalaloopsy

Micro Games America (MGA) Entertainment, a California based company, most famously known for its Bratz line, recently launched its current hit toy line – the Lalaloopsy Doll, showing great appeal among young girls, ages 6 – 12 years old.

Lalaloopsy dolls were once rag dolls who magically came to life, taking on the personalities of the fabrics that were used to make them. They live in a colorful world and whoever adopts them must keep the magic of their world alive!

Hailed as the ‘hottest toy of the season” by CBS The Early Show and placed #1 in Google’s Hottest Internet Searches, these small plastic 13-inch dolls  are designed to look like hand sewn rag dolls and have their own individual personalities with silly but adorable names. They each wear colorful and fashionable outfits. Because each Lalaloopsy doll is said to be made from special fabric that gives each doll its personality, the story is that it is with the final stitch that gave them life and developed a personality  based on the clothes they are wearing. Each was born on a special day in history.

There are currently 8 individual Lalaloopsy dolls in line. With such a variety of Lalaloopsy personalities available, and with whimsical and silly names like “Mittens Fluff  ‘n’ Stuff” and “Pillow Featherbed”, each comes with a pet who are just as silly and wacky, from pink striped zebra to an elephant with a top hat. It will sure ignite a young girl’s imagination and creativity. Any young girl looking for a doll is sure to find a character that matches her personality and interests. There’s one to fit every young girl, whether she’s a starry eyed science enthusiast gazing at the constellations, a performing diva who always takes centerstage and loves to dance and sing, or anything in between. Learning the background story behind each character is great fun and that’s one of the many reasons why little girls from all over are falling in love with these dolls.

MGA Entertainment certainly does have a hit on its hands this year with its line of Lalaloopsy Dolls. Well-built and well-conceived, Lalaloopsy is certain to become one of the best toys this year, with its broad appeal and designed to encourage a child’s imagination and creativity. It teaches important life lessons  such as diversity, individuality and the idea that everything can be recycled and nothing should ever go to waste.

Lalaloopsy dolls were recently launched in the Philippines and are available at all leading department stores and toystores nationwide. Exclusively distributed by Ban Kee Trading, Inc. For inquiries, call the Ban Kee hotline at 3739600.

A caster board is a two-wheeled, human-propelled vehicle that is closely related to the skateboard and the snakeboard. Two narrow platforms known as “decks” are adjoined by a rubber or aluminum lamb skin coated metal beam that houses a strong spring. Each truck has one wheel that is connected to the board in a way that each wheel can rotate independently, like the wheels on a shopping trolley. Both wheels are mounted on slants that measure around 30° in angle, facing away from the front of the board. Movement
